Transfer Case Radiator Headers |
The guys who work the phones sound like they only do this to support their off-road habits. They know the product and understand what you’re asking them. |
||
Body |
Super customer service. Their trucking company lost the body in transit for ~1 month. They were all set to ship a new one when the original showed up. The lack of drama in dealing with Aqualu was refreshing. |
||
Seats |
Great seats, but they missed on the seat brackets. Never did get a promised adapter, so I ended up fabbing one up myself. |
||
Jeep Parts |
Good place for old/original Jeep parts. If you need it, they probably have it. |
||
Gauges |
Great place for gauges and fittings with good pricing. |
||
Heater |
Their online/email channel is weak, but on the phone I learned about the JC Whitney special packaging that included vents and hose. |
||
Safety Harness |
Bill Simpson was already a legend in the race safety domain when he started IR to prove that he could build the best harness in the business. The quality of the product is super! |
||
Misc Parts |
Talking to Heatercraft, I learned that JCW uses its market power to get a supplier to value-add an item and create a JCW exclusive. They have come a long way from their quirky South Side Chicago roots as Warshawsky’s (The catalogues were filled with “Who buys this stuff?” items, and if you really needed fuzzy dice…) |
||
Axles |
When they’re good, they’re really really good, but… (See Article) |
||
Air Suspension |
Guys who know their stuff and use high quality components. Working with Steve S. in making the Airock suspension work with the D60’s was a joy. |

Omix-Aida |
Repro Parts |
Parts are not exactly great quality and unresponsive customer service. At times, they’re the only game in town, so you gotta pay to play. |
|
Steering |
Good stuff and Kelvin is great to work with. They have figured out how to deal with tech questions via e-mail and phone. Had a problem with a part and it was resolved without any hassle. |

Powertrain |
Junkyard and high integrity are usually mutually exclusive concepts, but not here. Their stuff is exactly as advertised and when I’ve had issues they were resolved without drama. Priceless! |

Frame Front Bumper |
Jeremy Pulse, the TDK owner, epitomizes the concept of craftsmanship in his frame fabrication. Almost seems a shame to hide it under a body. |
